ParaWorx – at the Heart of the Zillertal

ParaWorx is located in the legendary Zillertal flying area, one of the most renowned hotspots for international paragliding and hang gliding. From 2026, the Zillertal will also be a host region of the Red Bull X-Alps Challenge, and is well known for events such as the Zillertal Open, Zillertal Battle, the Eagles Hike & Fly Trophy, and many more. For decades, the Zillertal has stood for breathtaking alpine scenery and a deep-rooted passion for free flight. Situated directly below the launch sites Perler, Nasenalm and Melchboden, from which numerous records have been flown, ParaWorx is perfectly positioned. These include the tandem world record flown by David-Jürgen Stock, as well as two FAI world records set in 2008 and 2014 by Thomas Waldner, complemented by many additional cross-country flights exceeding 300 km. Located close to the flying areas of Mayrhofen, Finkenberg, Kaltenbach, Achensee and Reiterkogel, we are as close to the action as it gets.
